George Washington Bridge

It was another fantastic weekend with my love Allison Wong. We raced as a team (his & her category) in the New York Gran Fondo. They gave us an incredible route featuring five brutal hills. The start on the George Washington Bridge was surreal. It was wet and foggy with low visibility. It even rained on us for about 20 minutes shortly after. Then we started the mountains. Bear Mountain was the featured climb (4 miles 1200 feet) Stunning views awaited us upon our climb up. The sun also finally burned out the clouds. Then it was perfect cycling weather all the way to the finish. 101 miles with 8500 feet of climbing were the final stats of the race. I’m already looking forward to our next adventure. #crazyinlove #gfny #bearmountain #bunnylove #livetoride #ridetolive #cannondale #adventuresofallisonandshaun
