I’ve heard great things about Rev3, and was not let down at all. This is what I expect from a solid racing company. Everything was setup and organized extremely well! The Athlete Guide was one of the best I’ve ever read, going into details about everything related to the race. The athlete meeting was funny and informative. Best of all is the Rev3 community!
The Facebook group dedicated to this race was filled with encouraging posts from other participants leading up to race day and for several days afterward. I’ve never experienced anything like it. You got all the latest, up-to-date info in this group, along with encouragement from everyone. I was able to read everyone’s stories, and was so inspired. Second, the spectators! They really cheered you on at all the rest stops and at the end. To this day, I remember the volunteers at the final drink station by the finishing chute chanting my name over and over again as I ran by them and across the finishing mat. I have never felt an endorphin rush like that before. It still gives me chills.
If that’s not enough, here are more things that this race does differently than any others I’ve been in: 1) Hand-written notes in my swag bag; 2) They allow a friend to run with you through the finishing chute at the end; 3) Free finishing picture;
