About the Race
Looking for a weekday race with a fun after-party? This 5K race series will feature a points system and some really great prizes for the top five male and female participants at its end. After the race, we will head over for an after-party at Klondike Kate’s (7:00 – 8:00PM), where they’ll be providing a tasty spread each week to go with a different beer from Mispillion River Brewing for participants 21 and older.

So I pretty much signed up for this race for the beer. It’s a great deal! For the early bird price of $50, you get craft beer, food, shirt, medal, and oh yeah, 5 5k races!
It’s a local, low key race with a friendly crew. Great way to get a quality workout in on Wed nights from May through June. My Mom even came out for one of the runs. Made new friends and enjoyed all the after parties. The food and beer was depleted quickly, so the key is to run fast and immediately go to the after-party at Klondike Kates when you are finished running.
