A short, challenging little tri at the top of Delaware. The swim is in the Newark Reservoir, the bike is a rolling, hilly 11 miles on a course open to traffic, and the run features 2 major hills at the beginning and the end, plus a good solid mile of trail running. I came in 4th place in my age group, and I struggled to accept that all day yesterday. I was sick of looking at results, analyzing, and cross-analyzing.  However, today is a new day.  Plus I have some really good photos of me, and it would be a shame to let them go to waste. So no more studying results and comparing myself to others. I’m happy with my race, I gave it everything I got, and if 4th place is where I rank, then so be it. Moving on!!

Parking was on a grassy field directly across from transition. It was a relatively close walk to get to transition. There was packet pick-up and chip timing pick-up. Remember to get the the chip as that is not included if you do early packet pick-up the day before.
