About the Ride

Ranked #1 Gran Fondo in US for 2016 by Gran Fondo Guide. This is not your typical century ride. With four timed hill climbs spread out between mile 25 and mile 81, you will be challenged, but you will still have to face the seemingly endless little climbs on the rest of the route. The Gran course follows the Medio out to Califon, where it splits off along River road and heads 45 miles out to the Delaware River and back. Along the way you are treated to plenty of climbing, but also some spectacular views, like “The Launch Pad” at the end of Buffalo Hollow.

About Us

This site is a collection of race reviews, ride reports, and musings on life. It focuses on my love of the outdoors, primarily triathlon, cycling, and running, with some training, traveling, and race-cations thrown in.  I race year round, and almost every week in the warmer months.

I hope these race reviews and reports serve as a resource to athletes everywhere about which races to add to your bucket list and which ones to just plain avoid altogether.
